1. Who is responsible

This policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and other applicable privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Visiting this website (server logs)

Every time you open a page, your browser automatically sends information to the server that hosts this website. Our hosting provider records this information in server log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of the request
• Page or file requested and the amount of data transferred
• Referring website (if your browser sends it)
• Browser type, version and operating system (user agent)
• HTTP status code (for example, whether the page was found)

Purpose: to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and detect and prevent misuse or attacks. We do not combine this data with other sources or use it to identify you.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention: log files are kept by the hosting provider only for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting, and are then deleted automatically. Data needed as evidence of a security incident is kept until the incident is resolved.

Hosting provider: Namecheap, Inc., Phoenix, Arizona, USA, which processes this data on our behalf as a processor. See section 8 for international transfers.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or similar technologies. This is why you do not see a cookie banner. If you choose to play an embedded video, YouTube may set cookies or similar technologies; see section 5.

4. Contacting us by email

When you email us (for example at info@mavicloudweb.com, to request a demo or TestFlight access), we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message.

Purpose: to answer your request and, if you ask for it, to provide product demos or beta access. If you request BizSnap TestFlight access, we share your email address with Apple's TestFlight service so it can send you the invitation.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and otherwise our legitimate interest in replying to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention: we delete your messages once your request is fully handled, unless we must keep them longer under legal retention obligations (for example, for business correspondence). Our email is processed by our email service provider as a processor.

5. Embedded videos (YouTube)

Some pages may contain videos hosted on YouTube, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and a two-click solution: no connection to YouTube is made until you click the play button.

When you click play, your browser connects to YouTube and Google servers. YouTube receives information such as your IP address, the page you are on and device details, and may set cookies or similar technologies. If you are logged in to a Google account, YouTube may link this to your account. Google may transfer data to the United States.

Legal basis: your consent, given by clicking play (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by not playing videos and reloading the page; this does not affect processing before withdrawal. For details, see Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

6. Links to other websites

This website links to external sites such as LinkedIn. No data is sent to these services while you browse our site. When you follow a link, the privacy policy of that website applies.

7. Downloads

Documents offered for download (such as the CVs and the BizSnap poster) are served from our own server. Downloading them is recorded only in the server logs described in section 2.

8. International data transfers

Our hosting provider may store and process data on servers in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area, the UK and the UAE. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or are otherwise permitted under the UAE PDPL.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: to find out whether and what data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
• Withdrawal of consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
• Complaint to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work (Art. 77 GDPR), or to the UAE Data Office under the PDPL

California and other US state residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information. You may request to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@mavicloudweb.com. We may need to verify your identity before we respond.

10. No automated decision-making

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

11. Children

This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Security

This website is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
